Sustainable products at the Voshövel
Our aim is to make a positive contribution to environmental protection while offering our guests an exclusive, sustainable experience. We use modern technologies in many areas of the hotel to save energy and rely on environmentally friendly practices to conserve resources.
An overview of the sustainable articles:
- Wellness bag: Our wellness bag is made in Germany and consists of FSC-certified paper (cellulose), which is also washable. In addition, the bag is manufactured according to special ecological standards and has been awarded the Oeko-Tex label.
- In-house flower garden: We have been growing our own cut flowers since fall 2022. A colorful mix of perennials, shrubs, trees and annual flowers grows in raised beds on an area of approx. 120 square meters. In this way, we want to cover more and more of our fresh flower requirements ourselves and thus improve our world a little more. We do not use pesticides, fertilize exclusively with organic fertilizer and can thus work in the cycle of nature. More about the flower garden.
- Team Dr Joseph in the Livingroom SPA: With the natural cosmetics brand Team Dr Joseph, we have a partner for the Livingroom SPA for whom a commitment to sustainability is a matter of course. Inspired by nature and supported by scientific research, Team Dr Joseph develops products that care for the skin in a gentle and effective way while respecting the environment and health. Team Dr Joseph cosmetics are vegan, cruelty-free and certified organic. For our treatments, we mainly use the high-quality products from Team Dr Joseph.
- Voshövel jute bag: This ideal everyday companion is also used in our Livingroom SPA. The bag is made from 100% Fairtrade certified cotton and is Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified. To our jute bag.
