At the Landhotel Voshövel we attach great importance to treating our fellow human beings and the environment with respect. We want to create a place of well-being for guests and employees alike. To create awareness for a responsible use of resources and to make joint decisions that strengthen our way of life. It makes us all the more proud to be recognized for our efforts.
GreenSign
In June 2023 we have been awarded the highest level 5 by the sustainability label "GreenSign". We applied to GreenSign because it is an independent label and also takes into account the social responsibility we practice.
The award is a great praise for us and our employees and a confirmation that we are going in the right direction with the actions and measures of the last years. It spurs us on to continue steering our activities "green" in the future. Above all, we want to further expand the topics of purchasing and quality management.
Organic seal
In our in-house bakery at Voshövel, our master baker Stefan Lewe produces baked goods exclusively with products from organic farming.You will also find an abundance of organically grown fruit and vegetables as well as dried fruit and nuts at breakfast. Our aim is to provide an outstanding culinary experience that both supports wellbeing and promotes environmental protection.

Slowflower
Slowflower embodies sustainability in practice, a triad of seasonality, regionality and environmental awareness. Our in-house flower garden consists exclusively of natural materials that are grown in the local climate and are free from harmful chemicals. At Landhotel Voshövel, we actively support the Slowflower movement by producing our flowers according to its principles. As ambassadors of this initiative, we want to inspire as many people as possible with sustainable flowers.
Top employer
In October 2023, we were recognized as a Top Employer 2023 by the renowned Rolling Pin magazine. The annual Rolling Pin Award is one of the most prestigious awards in the restaurant and hotel industry. It recognizes companies with outstanding working conditions, employee development and a positive corporate culture. As Landhotel Voshövel, we are proud of this award and see it as recognition of our ongoing efforts to create an inspiring working environment. We encourage the personal and professional development of our employees and are committed to a culture of collaboration, diversity and inclusion.
Hospitality HR-Award
In December 2023, we achieved 1st place in the DHA Hospitality HR Award in the area of employee retention and development. We have introduced various measures at Landhotel Voshövel to provide our employees with the best possible support and development. These include training programs, further training opportunities, team-building activities and an open communication culture. These initiatives have not only had a positive impact on employee satisfaction, but also on guest satisfaction and ultimately the success of our hotel.
TOP-Training company
We have been awarded the TOP-Training company by the DEHOGA. A good education of our trainees is very important to us. That's why we also train employees every year to become IHK-certified trainers.

Certified “bicycle-friendly employer"
We have been awarded the “Silver” certificate as a “bicycle-friendly employer” by the German Cyclists' Federation (ADFC).
Measures that support cycling promote environmental protection and are an important part of our sustainable mobility concept. When more people cycle to work, not only does the environment benefit, but also their own health.
We are delighted to be the first hotel to receive this award and are continuing to work with our cycling expert Max to offer employees and guests a great cycling experience.
Excellent breakfast
Our breakfast buffet with live cooking was voted one of the 12 best hotel breakfasts in Germany by the company Wiltmann and the magazine "Der Feinschmecker". A great award, which recognizes the performance of our team in the breakfast area. With our new Live Cooking breakfast buffet we try to present regional producers in the areas of dairy products, sausages, eggs and of course our in-house organic baked goods to our guests in a special way.
